Useful for ejectors, lifters, shedders, and kickers, our pins and springs can be cut to suit any application. They are economical, versatile, and easy to assemble. Typical applications include common pierce punching, heeled notching punches, narrow punching in the split quill, knock-out in compound die, and closely spaced quill punches.
UNIKIX® Spring Pins
Each UNIKIX® Spring Pin consists of a hardened steel rod soldered to a compression spring. These springs can prevent slug pulling and eject slugs after the cut-off, preventing the sheet metal from being held against the stripper by stamping-fluid surface tension. A UNIKIX™ Spring Pin can even delay the actuation of an electrical switch.
